The original Confucius Says, Asadoya Yunta

Thanks to some youtube commenters, I found the kinda original version of Confucius Says, or rather the Japanese version called Asadoya Yunta [安里屋ユンタ/沖縄民謡] which I used Google translator and it means Okinawan or People of Okinawa. However did some more search and the title may be Okinawan dialect so it may mean Song Of Asadoya. Did some more search and found more info here which says "Asadoya Yunta" is a song that originated in Okinawa about a woman named Asadoya nu Kuyama, who was brave enough to reject a wedding proposal from a government official." However that title is for the same song but different lyrics which can be found here. There are a lot of versions so I am just posting this one which took me some time to recognise the Roman Tam version in it. It is there, just some time. Apparently it is "a folk song of Yaeyama islands in Okinawa."

The lady singer looks super chic and not Japanese.
